Historical Information
Katie founded the Kathleen Patton Westby Foundation in 1989 as a vehicle to supplement her support of the arts and arts education. Successor Trustees: Kathleen H. Westby, Gerald H. Westby Jr. and John Trygve Westby are the children of Katie and Gerry Westby, and the successor trustees of the Foundation. All born and raised in Tulsa, Tryg is the only full-time resident, Katie splits her time between Cincinnati, OH, and Vero Beach, FL, and Gerry between Tulsa and Grand Lake. Katie has four children, two grandchildren, has owned several businesses and spends her time traveling and being the center of her close-knit family. Gerry Jr. is a former stockbroker who is currently managing the renovation of the family property on Grand Lake that he inherited from his parents. Gerry has one son and two granddaughters. Tryg is a retired professional super-bike racer and recently sold his 25 year motorcycle business. Tryg and his wife, Jane, have two children. Katie, Gerry and Tryg share a commitment to the values and charitable goals of the Kathleen Patton Westby Foundation, carrying on their mother’s legacy.
